Michaela Corngold serves as our Finance Director, bringing over twenty-five years of extensive experience in finance and accounting to the EXPERT EFFECT team. She is a seasoned leader who has successfully navigated the complexities of diverse business environments, ranging from large publicly traded corporations to smaller, private equity-backed organizations. 

Her technical expertise lies in strengthening financial operations and improving business processes to drive long-term efficiency. Michaela has a proven track record of supporting due diligence teams through high-stakes sales and acquisitions of businesses valued at several hundred million dollars. By leveraging a diverse systems background, she fosters cross-departmental collaboration to ensure that financial strategy remains firmly aligned with broader organizational goals. 

Michaela holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). This combination of academic rigor and professional certification provides her with the specialized knowledge necessary to manage complex accounting functions across a wide variety of industries. 

Based in Costa Mesa, California, Michaela maintains a balanced and active lifestyle outside of her professional endeavors. She and her husband are avid travelers who enjoy mountain biking and exploring the underwater world, as both are certified in advanced scuba diving.
