Clark's Story

As a high performer in school and extra-curricular activities, at the age of 14 Clark started to experience the effects of stress through periodic insomnia and stress related health issues.  Since that time Clark has dedicated his life to learning about the topic of stress and then helping others live healthier lives through the founding of EXPERT EFFECT. 

After becoming an entrepreneur, Clark realized that companies both large and small could thrive by receiving support from high caliber human resources professionals who were incredibly relational.  Therefore, he utilized EXPERT EFFECT to make it happen!  

Clark's Bio

Before launching his adventure as an entrepreneur, Clark Souers held several leadership roles in the field of human resources which spanned the entertainment, hotel and non-profit industries. 

During his tenure in the entertainment industry, Clark was Director of Human Resources for Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), responsible for people operations across the globe for entertainment venues such as Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and The 02 in London. While with the Hilton, Millennium and Westin hotel chains, he developed acumen in the areas of training and development, employee relations and policy development. In the non-profit sector Clark held executive level HR positions with Community Partners and Penny Lane, each of which have employee populations of 500 plus. 

Clark is the CEO + Founder of EXPERT EFFECT, a company that he founded which provides high touch human resources & organizational effectiveness solutions to companies of all sizes plus stress-resiliency & executive coaching support to individuals in high performing roles.   

Clark has developed a reputation of being a visionary when it comes to supporting people and organizations with thriving in a complex world. He has been tapped by news outlets such as NBC, high profile conferences, large audience podcasts, Fortune 500 companies and DisruptHR to speak on the topics of stress-resiliency, human resources and leadership. In addition, he has provided executive and stress-resiliency coaching to high performers from all walks of life with a focus on improving their ability to accomplish great things while living a life that is ultra-enjoyable. 

He is certified as a Korn Ferry and DDI trainer, and after attending the Co-Active Training Institute became an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. He was valedictorian of Pepperdine University and earned his MBA from Arizona State University. 

Clark always makes time for his wife and two sons, friends, outdoor adventures, traveling, mountain biking, tennis, skiing and music.
