Nancy Moricette is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) specialist with over 10 years of experience in integrating DEI principles through strategic planning initiatives, designing inclusive practice curricula for young and adult learners and developing DEI affinity groups for organizations. She designed and facilitated DEI workshops and initiatives for organizations on the East and West Coast and is an active member of the National Diversity Council. She currently serves as the Development Co-Chair for Emerging Arts Leaders of Los Angeles; an organization committed to developing the next generation of Arts Sector Leadership.
She holds a Master of Science in Education from Bank Street College in Leadership in Community Programs and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Roosevelt University. She is trained in anti-bias and community development protocols by the Southern Poverty Law Center (Museum of Tolerance), The People's Institute for Survival and Beyond and The National School Reform Faculty. She continues to be committed to cultivating equitable communities by providing organizations with sustainable DEI frameworks that nurture healthy organizational change.
Nancy is Haitian American and enjoys making dishes from Ayiti. Her favorite Haitian dish is fried plantains and stewed Haitian chicken, it’s delicious. She is also a super fan of Star Trek, Japanese Animation and Korean Dramas.
