Mary Jean Vignone, MBA, PH.D

Dr. Mary Jean Vignone brings over 25 years of leadership in corporations and nonprofits, including diverse organization development experience. As an innovative strategic consultant, she has a proven ability to design initiatives to improve organizational performance and culture. Mary Jean works with companies to align business needs with her organizational development strategies such as change management initiatives, leadership development programs, employee engagement, succession planning, executive coaching, and strategic planning sessions.

Before embarking on her consulting career, Mary Jean held Senior Vice President, Organization and Employee Development positions for Santa Barbara Bank & Trust and MUFG Union Bank.  She facilitated numerous mergers & acquisitions, organizational restructuring, and culture change initiatives throughout her corporate career.

She holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt designation. She is certified in Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), DISC assessment, Emotional Intelligence (EQi 2.0), Management By Strengths (MBS), and Blanchard’s Leading People Through Change workshop.  She facilitated Open Space Organizational Development interactions using World Café and Appreciative Inquiry methods. Mary Jean also holds an Executive Coaching Certificate.

Being a life-long learner, Mary Jean achieved her Master of Business (MBA), MA, and Ph.D. in Human and Organization Development. She is currently an adjunct faculty in Fielding Graduate University’s Organization Development and Leadership Master of Arts program and Institute of Social Innovation Fellow. In addition, she has authored articles in academic journals.

Mary Jean dedicates her time and talent by serving on two nonprofit Boards of Directors.  You can find her spending time with her family and friends, hiking, traveling, camping in an RV, or oil painting in her free time.
