Mark J. Springett is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) in the U.S. and has provided Mental Skills Training to numerous athletes and performers. He is a graduate of the Sport Psychology Masters program at John F. Kennedy University in California.
He has supported professional, collegiate and elite junior athletes, as well as those in other performance domains such as those taking their medical board exams and graduate entrance exams. He has also helped those in the performing arts including musicians and dancers.
He has travelled extensively to provide mental coaching in the sporting competition arena, including at LPGA Q-school (golf), the junior U.S. Open (tennis), Breeder's Cup & Del Mar Races (horse racing), the U.S. Olympic Training Center (Archery), USA Fencing National Championships and NCAA Conference Finals (Swimming).
In addition, Mark has made several TV/Radio appearances and is a recognized speaker on the topic of performance psychology.
In his free time, Mark enjoys going for long walks and hikes with his loved ones and puppy. He also enjoys spending time by the ocean, swimming, attending film festivals and has a passion for the French culture.
