Dr. Mark Mallinger is both an accomplished academic and experienced consultant. His clients include a cross section of industries, such as manufacturing, health care, financial services, municipal government, retail and many others. Throughout his career, Mark has been recognized for his ability to utilize organizational development modalities to build high-performing teams, constructive effective employee motivational strategies, design transformational working environments and implement change intervention.

In addition, he has developed a framework and a set of diagnostic tools to assess organizational culture that he uses to measure the extent to which company culture is a fit/misfit with its goals and objectives. His applied research, particularly that which focuses on organizational culture and strategy, has received over 10,000 online reads. Mark’s research and the implementation of his model have become a technique that others in the field practice with their clients as well.

Mark is an Emeritus Professor of Applied Behavioral Science at the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University. He earned his doctorate at USC. He taught in the Executive MBA program, working with senior managers from companies throughout Southern California. For over 30 years as a leader in the classroom he has received a number of teaching awards and recognized throughout the University for his skill in student centered learning. In addition, he has considerable administrative experience at the Graziadio School. Mark served as the Associated Dean for seven years in the full-time MBA program and was the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence for five years.

Mark and his wife of 40 years reside in Malibu, are proud grandparents, and enjoy pickleball on a regular basis.
