Jamie Cornell has spent over 25 years working in the areas of learning and development, coaching, and group facilitation. Jamie started her professional career volunteering for two years in Senegal, West Africa with the Peace Corps after earning her BS at Texas A&M University. She has since earned a MA in International Development from the University of Denver and devoted her career to supporting and challenging leaders within organizations.
While working for a Department of Energy service contractor, she developed the organization’s first onboarding and training program. As the Training & Development Manager at Denver Zoo, she led the creation of their first Learning & Development Program, guided the institution through their first Learning Management System, and facilitated the zoo’s first cross-departmental leadership program with Everything DiSC assessments for over 350 employees.
Jamie’s clients value her approachable demeanor, intelligence, and adaptable communication style that inspires lasting change for groups and leaders.
In the past 8 years as a consultant and certified coach, Jamie’s primary areas of focus have been executive coaching, conflict resolution, workshop facilitation, teen life coaching, organizational mindfulness practices, and yoga.
When she’s not at work, you can find Jamie volunteering for neighborhood organizations, exploring the world with her husband and 2 kids, or walking her 2 oversized shelter dogs between yoga classes.
