Los Angeles

Bob is an experienced HR generalist with lengthy career stops as a VP, Human Resources Manager at Bank of America, a Senior Employee Relations Consultant at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and most recently as the Director of Human Resources at the Huntington Library, Art Galleries and Botanical Gardens.

Bob’s calm and friendly demeanor makes him an especially effective communicator with all levels of an organization. His specialties include employee relations, training, managing reorganizations and layoffs, conflict resolution, benefits design, performance management, workplace satisfaction surveys, and compensation.

Bob received his BA in Broadcast Journalism from USC, and began his career working for a broadcast production company that televised LPGA golf tournaments all over the United States. It was during his stint here that he learned to recruit, hire, onboard and train the crews that were behind the scenes of each telecast. This experience eventually translated into a career in human resources. Bob also received his Human Resources Certification from Cal State University Northridge and a Conflict Resolution Certification from Loyola Law School.

Bob and his wife raised their three daughters in South Pasadena and their favorite activities include eating great food, river rafting, and laughing at Bob’s dumb jokes. Bob also is an active golfer playing in both individual and team tournaments several times a month.
